Pakistan's Relations with Central Asian Countries
After the dissolution of Soviet Union in 1991, Central Asian Muslim countries Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan came into being.- Pakistan established ties with these countries and expanded its external relations. These relations further improved with the establishment of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). Pakistan's relations with these countries are not only based on religion, but also on mutual interests. In the present day world, it is beneficial for these countries to cooperate with each other.
