1. Character Traits Discussion:
Divide the class into 4 small groups.
Each group discusses the main traits of Harry Van Dusen, Miss McCutcheon, Clay Larrabee and the man (writer) based on their actions and dialogues in the play.
Encourage groups to use specific examples from the text. After 10 minutes, bring the class together and have each group present their findings. Facilitate a class discussion comparing and contrasting the views of each group.
