Gender distribution refers to the distribution of population on the basis of men and women. According to the current facts and figures, men constitute about 51% of the total population in Pakistan, while women constitute about 49% . These statistics show that the birth rate of men in Pakistan is higher than that of women. These statistics can be considered as very suitable for economic development and increase in economic activities. It is possible to increase economic productivity in Pakistan by making the workforce skilled. This will increase Pakistan's per capita income.
